Congratulations to the cast and crew of Gianmarco Galassi's film Panama which won Best Film Noir at the 1st Annual British Film Festival in Los Angeles.
The film has won four awards now - Best International Directorial Debut & Best Film Noir Feature at the 2009 New York International Independent Film and Video Festival, Best Student and Young Filmmaker Award at the Al Sawy International Film Festival in Cairo, Egypt, and now Best Film Noir at the British Film Festival held in Los Angeles. Galassi and several crew members were leaving for Cannes the day after winning in Los Angeles, as the film is now gaining much international recognition.
