Running at the Rose Bowl
I took a nice 3 mile run this afternoon at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Definitely feeling like spring is around the corner - I can't believe tomorrow is March 1st! Time is flying by!

Help! Top 50 will be announced on Monday! Need more views/comments!
In case you haven't heard...
Dear friends, family, co-workers, and business acquaintances:
It's that time again when I'm competing in an online contest for a job and need your support! All joking aside, I am currently competing for the Tourism Queensland "Best Job in the World" as Island Caretaker. The Island Caretaker gets to blog and produce video segments on his/her adventures living in the islands of the Great Barrier Reef! The position is for 6 months beginning July 1st, 2009.
Basically, as we speak, the lovely folks in Australia are sorting through over 20,000 videos to pick their top 50 candidates...the competition is HUGE!
So in the meantime, while they're deciding their top 50, I am asking for you to watch, comment, rate, share, post, repost, blog, embed, etc my video so it will rise to the top and significantly increase my chances of making it to the next round!!!
Voting will begin once the 50 have been chosen (which is in 7 days). From the top 50, the panel will pick 11 finalists - 10 based on qualifications, 1 based on having the most views (which they're calling the "wild card"). I feel that I have all the qualifications to be the Island Caretaker considering my background and work experience online!!! I've created a 3 step process for you to follow below...

Now, if you really want to go the extra mile, you can forward this email out to your friends, family and ask them to do the same. Then, you can post the video, links to the video, embed the video on your Facebook, Myspace, blogs, Twitter accounts, etc. This is an amazing opportunity and I really do appreciate you taking the time to support my career!!! My day just got better...
Today has been a great day - my video is doing well in the best job in the world competition, I got a tie dyed towel (see previous post), and then I was reminded why I love living in Los Angeles...
This man was just following the yellow brick road to the CVS in Santa Monica, asking those around him for a heart...some people were scared, some people were amused, I took a picture:

HELP me get the BEST job in the WORLD!

I really need your help with this one! I've entered the contest for the best job in the world. The position is for 6 months in Australia to blog, vlog and work on the islands of the Great Barrier Reef sharing your experience with the world!

Proper Attire Condoms
Have you ever thought to yourself, "Gosh, I wish these condom packages were more...stylish?" Well, now you can have designer, yes designer, condoms thanks to Alexander Wang (no pun intended) and Planned Parenthood. Get more 411 on these sexy, chic rubbers here.
If I may share my personal opinion on this...if you're too embarrassed to buy or carry condoms because the packaging is not stylish enough, maybe you should not be sexually active...I can just hear the inner-monologue now: "You know, I should get some, but...they just don't match my dress tonight, so f*ck it. I wouldn't be caught dead with a gray Durex in my Gucci bag."
Maybe that's what happened to Alfie & Chantelle over in the UK?

South Park Character Creator

The save button doesn't work on the site, so you have to take a screen shot and crop in Paint or Photoshop. Kind of a pain in the ass, but the quality on this site is better than the others we tried.
